All our observations of the children are uploaded onto Tapestry and are shared with parents.  Parents are also encouraged to upload photographs and details of family activities or outings so that their child can share them with the rest of the class.  We find that children really enjoy discussing these personal experiences and this process develops their self confidence and their communication and language skills.

We also have a class page that has been attached to every parent so we can share information and whole class events with you.  From time to time we will set the children challenges or ask for your help and this is an ideal way to communicate with you in a collective way.  Just as when we have added an observation for your child, you will receive an email notification and you can view the information in the same was as you look at your child's learning journal.

The sharing of events both at home and school provides us with valuable insights of your children and helps to give us a rounded view of every child in the class.  This helps us to plan and develop personalised learning and to support progress and attainment.
