Welcome To Studham Lower Schools New Website

Studham VC Lower School (Group 1 size) is affiliated to the
Church of England and caters for children in the age range 4 to 9.

The existing school building was started in 1959 and extended in 1969. The school has a hall equipped with large apparatus and wall bars, and a school meals kitchen. There is a well equipped library and ICT suite.

We have beautiful grounds and we have recently opened our pre-school class
'Acorns'
The school takes a pride in being at the heart of the local community and as a voluntary controlled school we have close links with both St. Mary’s Church and the Methodist Church.

The children take part in many community events including the May Fair, the Whipsnade Tree Cathedral Service, carol singing in the Methodist Church and making the christingles for the Christingle Service every year.

We attend church to celebrate Christmas and Easter and hold our Leaver’s service in the church each year. Parents are warmly invited to all of these events.

As part of our desire to reach out to the wider community we support a variety of charities and appeals each year. These include the Bishop’s Harvest Appeal, Operation Christmas Child and sponsoring an animal at Whipsnade Zoo.

The school is supported by local groups and businesses who raise money to enhance the resources and opportunities that are offered to the children.
