It is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is surrounded by fields and woodland. Small class sizes, a very strong teaching team and a friendly, caring ethos leads to happy, secure children who achieve results that are well above the national average and amongst the best in Bedfordshire.

Excellent academic results

Seamless transition from the pre-school into the upper years

Broad range of subjects, including specialist music and sports

Pupils join the pre-school from the age of two years. The pre-school is fully integrated into the main school, with children often joining main assemblies and other school events. The pre-school and Reception classes are led and planned together, with common themes and many joint activities. This means that children enjoy a seamless transition from the pre-school into Reception, and then into the upper years. In Years 1 to 4 the children enjoy a broad range of subjects, including a strong musical provision and a dedicated sports coach. The children excel academically, with reading, writing and mathematics results exceeding both local and national expectations in every year group.

Pupils have the opportunity of a place at the Priory Academy in Dunstable when they leave Studham.

Studham School forms part of the Priory Partnership for Learning.
