• Church Service May 2024-What a lovely way to end our half term!

  Studham Village CE Academy today invited Parents, Friends and Governors to all gather at St Mary's Church, Studham, for our regular end of half term service.

   

  We reflected on Pentecost and Friendship with songs from the School Choir, Nursery Rhymes, a Bear Hunt Recital, Poems of Friendship and a dramatised reading of the first Pentecost.

   

  We wish all our children and their families a wonderful Half Term break and look forward to welcoming you all back to school on Tuesday 4th June 2024.

• Celebrating Numeracy Day at SVCEA

  May 22nd 2024 was a big day for maths and numbers, as it was National Numeracy Day! The day started with a live launch on YouTube with Bobby Seagull and Katya from Strictly Come Dancing.  We at Studham Village CE Academy, learnt about how important numbers are in our daily lives and jobs and even how numbers are used by space engineers!

  The children took part in a multitude of activities during the day including; dancing with Katya, designing sweet boxes and solving mathematical problems. 

  

• Animals About visit Hedgehog Class

  What a wonderful way to spend a wet Wednesday morning! Hedgehog Class had an amazing time meeting animals that 'Creep, Crawl and Wriggle'! From a Millipede called Fungus to an Armadillo called Tank, the children were fascinated and enthralled!

   

  Many thanks to 'Animals About' for visiting us today and bringing in some wonderful creatures! and also to Studham Village CE Academy PTFA for funding the experience.

  Congratulations to Year 4 Pupil Martha on being crowned this years Studham Village Fair May Queen! and a huge 'Well Done' to Woodpecker Class for a great Maypole Dance along with our younger children who turned up to help 'flash mob' the end of our display! You are all amazing!!!

  Congratulations to Nelly in Woodpecker Class on receiving the first Studham Village CE Academy  'GOLD AWARD' this academic year!

   

  To obtain a Gold Award pupils in Woodpecker Class need to accumulate 75 Studham Stars for effort in the classroom. Well Done Nelly!!!

• A New Shed for our equipment!!!

  Friends Rob and John were busy over the bank holiday putting together many pieces of a wooden jigsaw to create a fabulous new shed for our playground equipment. A big 'Thank you' to them for their hard work!!
